 A TEA STALL

A tea stall is a common sight in our country. It is found in cities, towns, bazars, railway stations, bus stands and even in villages. It is a small shop. In a tea stall there are few chairs, tables or benches. Prepared tea is sold here. Biscuits, cakes, loafs, bananas, cigarettes and betel leaf are also sold here. There is often a boy or two to serve tea to the customers. The manager sits behind the cash box and collects money from the customer. An ordinary tea stall is dirty. A kettle is always kept hot on the stove. A tea stall opens in the morning and closes late night. A tea stall is a popular place. People of different ages and classes come here. They take tea and talk with one another. They discuss on various subjects. They also talk on village politics, national and international politics and on current affairs. Sometimes customers raise a storm over a cup of tea. A tea stall is an important place of social gathering indeed.

A BUS STAND

A bus stand is a place where service buses stop and start from. After a fixed time a good number of up and down buses touch at a bus stand at different hours of the day and night. In cities there are sheds for passengers at a bus stand. It is a temporary shelter for passengers. Passengers wait for some time to get on a bus. In some bus stands there are counters for tickets. Passengers stand in a line for buying tickets. Sometimes there is exchange of hot words if anybody breaks the line. A bus stand is a busy place. One bus comes and another starts for. The passengers coming here have no time to talk or to look at others. When a bus comes or starts for, Passengers become busy in procuring a seat. They push one another to get into it. Ladies find it too difficult to get on a bus. The drivers and conductors are also very busy. Their shouts are heard. The try to get as many passengers as they can. Generally a bus is always jam-packed and it is more jam-packed during office hours. So very few people can get into it. A bus stand is always noisy. There are road –side, tea-stall, small shops, hawkers selling betel leaf and cigarette at a bus stand. Magazines and seasonal fruits are also sold here. Physical exercise means the regular movement of the limbs of our body according to rules. It is essential to keep our body fit and mind sound. There lies a close connection between body and mind. We cannot think of a sound mind without a sound health. It is physical exercise which enables us to build a good health. Physical exercise makes our body active and the muscles strong. It also improves our power of digestion and blood circulation. It gives strength to our brain. A machine gets rust for want of proper use. Human body is also a machine. It becomes inactive and weak for want of exercise.  So we should take regular physical exercise in order to maintain a sound health and lead a happy life.

mARKETA village market is an important place to the villagers. The villagers buy and sell their daily necessaries in a village market. A village market generally sits in an open place of the village. Usually a village market is divided into three sections open space, temporary shops and permanent shops. Vegetable, milk, fish, fruit, curry and other essential things are sold in the open space. From the grocers’ people buy oil, salt, onion, garlic, ginger, pulse etc. In the permanent shops cloth, wheat, shoes, rice, flour, ghee, spices and different stationary items are sold. A village market is very useful and important in the life of the villagers. Here they meet their kith and kin and variety of people. The villagers sell their surplus products and buy their daily necessaries. It saves time and money of the villagers.
